Has anyone figured out how to disable the auto headlights so you can control the headlights manually. I can't stand that they come on automatically when you first turn the car on.

Since it apparently resets to auto.... You can also open the hood and pull the connector to the headlights. This process will differ depending on whether you have Signature or standard lights. When ready for a dash of light, open the hood and plug back in.
I will probably try and set the connector to some type of switch that is easily accessible inside the Bronco.

Otherwise maybe something that can be overriden in Forscan?

You can switch the headlight switch from always auto on startup to last position on startup using Forscan. It is a plaintext selectable option in the BCM.

You can go through the menu on the dash and actually turn the daytime running lights off. I had to get a replacement headlight shortly after I took delivery and all the replacement lights I got from the dealership had issues with the amber and day time running light so I turned that off to avoid the "winking" my bronco was giving people.

For the high beam thing you can just pull the lever like for flashing high beams and turns the auto function for the high beams off for that drive. There is also a setting in the settings menu under lights for it that maybe defeats the turn on at start up but that part doesn't bug me so haven't tried it

Yes it reverts back to auto every engine cycle.

One guy mentioned his headlights/bulbs needed to be replaced early on. My driver marker light is out and I think its been this way for awhile, more on why I think its been this way below. I tried to access it to see if loose connection but only way to access it is after you remove the grille + sig lights. And since I have a winch, not an easy job. So I just said screw it, it still reflects lol. I will either fix it when the other passenger yellow marker light burns out or just leave them be. Turn signals are built into sig lights so those work nor are they affected by the marker lights, good.

The reason I think marker light has been out a while is because sometimes, rare, ever since I got mine back in September when car off and open doors...the sig lights dont turn on. I feel like if the marker light worked, this wouldn't happen. Or maybe its a gremlin related to the auto headlights automatically reverting back to on after every engine cycle. *Regardless, you can fix this glitch pretty quick just by arming the vehicle with the key fob, just press it twice until it honks. Then unlock. Walla. All fixed--sig lights will illuminate again with car off if doors opened.

Oh. One last note. Everyone in my area now drives with their damn brights on, constantly, around town. Not a dark highway alone. I thought this was illegal. So damn annoying and dangerous. Blinds me all the time. Local police do nothing. If in bronco i blast them right back with sigs on bright + rigid fogs on as well. They dont care. People are so fubar now adays..
