Any new owners (Luddites hopefully)...

Have you tried to disconnect the cell antenna on the roll bar? Just curious how it is connected to the comms harness.

Pretty sure that's the satellite antenna for satellite radio and over the air map and system updates. It may also house the extended cellular antenna. Why would you want to disable it?

Cute. Okay... so, sat/cell/GPS to get specific, LOL. Yes, I want to minimize the connectivity; I see no benefit from it.

I’m not sure Ford is going to have a great mechanism for fixing your software bugs apart from Over the air updates.

I might pull the SIM card in this situation. I’d want the ability to connect the truck to WiFi.
