Kinda tricky on a F150 with a 5.0 shown...mechanic mentions 2.7 early in ... not as many obstacles on a smaller engine...takin mine to the dealer...sad there isn't a drain plug in the pan.

There are aftermarket drain plugs that you can add to the pan. Obviously, you're have to remove the pan initially, but after that you can simply remove the plug.
