Happy Sunday Bronco6G!

So I know there's a ton of info already floating around here and on YouTube about how to change the oil on the 2.7L, but hey, what's one more for the pile, right? 🤷

Most of you know me for my "how to" writeups on the forum. In 2025, I've decided to take the help guides to the big screen. This latest video is for the new Bronco owners who might still be taking their rigs to the dealer and paying $120+ for an oil change.

Seriously, this is one of the easiest DIYs you can do, and it's way cheaper.

Check out this video guide - it's quick, simple, and shows you everything you need to know:

Trust me, once you do it yourself, you'll wonder why you ever paid someone else to do it. Plus, it's a great way to get to know your Bronco a little better.

Cheers,

Rusty

Great video. Totally agree. You make sure it is done right and use the best products.
..little faith in the kid the dealer hires to do it.

Thanks for the DIY video.
I have stupid question, who’s Bull Bar is that? It looks like it doesn’t obstruct the front camera.

I'm a fan of a good DIY as much as the next person. Your video was thought out and well presented!

What can be a drawback for something as simple as oil changes these days is proper disposal of the old oil and filters. In years past, I got tired of storing gallons of used oil until I could take it to my nearest auto parts store. I don't even know if they still take it (or if they, is it still free)

Nice delivery of this process though! I do appreciate it.
