Two things missing from the vid - Ronin plug and recommendation to tilt the rig slightly to the passenger side - that helps get the last piece of oil out of the system. The Ronin plug saves you from making a mess when pulling the OEM plug.

You can't buy 6 quarts of decent full synthetic anywhere for $33 (retail) let alone with an oil filter, replacement drain pan plug. Sounds like a great deal!
Yeah, it's a loss leader for the dealership, but they make tons of money on the extra service they get on other owners. The multi-point inspection is all about finding other work for them to recommend. 🙂

Good write up. Just make sure you put 7quarts for 2.7.
Why 7 quarts my owners manual says 6 quarts?

Getting ready to do my 1st oil change at 1500 miles this week, have Motorcraft oil filter/oil and a new Yellow plug from Amazon. Bought enough to do 2 oil changes and it was $100 all on Amazon so about $50 per change. I change all my own oil so have to run to Orielly's a few times a year to dump my 2 5 gallon jugs of used oil. Been dumping there for 20 years so I just walk in right past the counter to the back dump and leave, no hassle at all.

I went to a quick lube place while in college ( ~20 years ago), they stripped my oil pan and somehow broke a tool off in it. They denied responsibility until they were blue in the face. That was my first and last time not DIYing an oil change.

nice video but a quick word of caution for the diy community (of which I am one). i have another Ford where I ran into an extended warranty issue because I could not locate the oil change receipt, with indicated mileage, for my very first oil change. 2013 Ford flex with a stretched timing chain At 105k miles, and an aftermarket extended warranty to 120k miles. the issue nearly cost me over $4k. The warranty company finally agreed to honor the warranty only after inspecting the engine for build-up after the front end was removed. The entire hassle was over one single missing oil change receipt, with mileage record. I take my 2022 wildtrak to an oil change place where they maintain records. If you are doing your own oil changes, be sure to keep solid records and devise a way to record the mileage when you do your changes.
I typically pay for maintenance through the warranty for this reason. Once you're out on your own there's no incentive to be making dealer donations.
