I posted on here about my attempts to do a Justin McBride inspired raised deck in the rear of my BL a while back. It mostly did the trick but 10k+ miles later I've learned where it fell short, and thanks to so many here with similar ideas I went to the drawing board to re-do this entirely.
Sorry in advance I do not have dimensions, but I do know the open cavities are somewhere around 4.75" tall. This was raised from roughly 3" on v1 to accommodate for a drawer design I had in mind, also for some extra space to house my Infinity BassLink mini that is hidden underneath from sight. The extra height also allowed me to create an extended platform that creates a more flat surface for a sleeping pad.
The drawer is plenty large for most camp supplies and I was able to put a locking latch as well. The drawer face was actually from a downed Oak tree on the property years ago destined for firewood...but its a gorgeous piece of quartersawn material with tons of figure and flecks so I'm happy to have it around.
Cant wait to roadtrip once again with an appropriate setup now. Just need to drop in the Dometic and I'm set. Thanks all for the contributions along the way.
