This is a storage and "kitchen" unit I built for the Bronco. Its held in by 4 bolts that go into the holes that held the tie-downs so the whole thing is removable. I've had a couple changes and still have one or two to make, but for the most part, I'm calling it done.

nice job!! That thing looks awesome. How much do you think it weighs? Easy to remove for one person? I really like the design.

Unloaded (no fridge, no supplies) probably about 50 lbs would be my guess. Maybe more, I haven't weighed it. It's made from 3/4" and 1/2" birch ply. The two large sides and the center divider have pretty large cutouts in the middle to lighten it up. You could cut some out of the bottom but I didn't want it to flex any there. It fairly easy to remove by one person if you remove the "drawers" first. I went through 2 or 3 "designs" before I settled on what it is now. I had originally built the low sides on the bottom right slide out to accommodate my Blackstone griddle. But after sitting it there (it fits great) I realized the heat coming out the sides and back would be too much for the wood/paint adjacent to it. So the griddle goes on a collapsible table. I'm going to rebuild that slide with taller sides.

Nice work. I did a single side kitchen, 4ft slides, I bent the pans from aluminum sheet to try to save weight.

Nice! I'm assuming you have the lay the seat back down to get the 4' slides to work?

I took the left seat out entirely. Light angle iron frame sheathed with aluminum so I can stack stuff on top. It fits pretty tight to the back of the seat.

Looks sturdy, functional and easy to use. Nice. I seriously considered a DIY, bug finally caved for the AAL full kit.

Love the Coleman Green! You’ll be glad not using the Blackstone there. I found grilling in the tailgate table leaves alot of smoke and food flavors lingering in the cab so I now do that away from the open back on its own table too and reserve the tailgate table for liquids/boiling/coffee or anything that doesnt char or smoke.

The concern about the heat and the smoke/smells/grease were the very reasons I chose to cook on a table. My propane in mounted on my spare tire and I've got a hose that goes from it to the griddle so I can cook a couple feet behind the open tailgate.

@Tdecell Man, I wish I had super hero skills like this. My dad does, but didn't rub off on me sadly. The orange cases, are thos the harbor freight? Are you using them for like pantry goods? I have one that I use for my Geyser portable shower. I'm thinking of getting a couple more to store pantry goods in. I've been using the Front Runner flatpack, but it doesn't strap down well. Thanks.

They are Harbor Freight cases. The 3800 size has recovery equipment in it, the 4800 has my compressor, manifold and hoses. I've since mounted the 3800 on the passenger side on my roof rack (pak rax)
