I have found rattle an appliance pant holds up better on rims. They do make white. Have you tried appliance paint? Do you have better results with what you used?Rustoleum gloss white rattle can, details in the video
Looks so great especailly with those grabbers! It doesn't work as well with the stock base tires but they really pop here without looking diminutive.I've finished the wheels and very happy with how they turned out.
You can watch the full process here:
Top is next, but waiting for it to be replaced first of course before I do any work on it.
And to me, the white top is more of a practical thing (although I love the look). It gets real hot where I like to go, and the black top just makes too much heat. White will be so much cooler and has the great retro look. Thanks again!Ya you don't want to fall in to that trap. Sometimes less is more. I definitely will NOT be doing fenders and mirrors in white, all the renderings I have seen look awful.
Looks Great!!I've finished the wheels and very happy with how they turned out.

It's called "hijacking a thread".So, why was my post deleted about having steel wheels available for sale on this thread? I placed that link on here if someone was interested in replicating the white wheel look. This is not the first time posts are being "moderated" to ones liking.
I'm IMPRESSED! You said all that without saying 'beyotch'... a stonger man than I...It's called "hijacking a thread".
It's rude.
You're doing it now.
Knock it off.

Agree! Black Caps add that contrast and also ties in the New/Old look nicely. Great work, really a beautiful looking truck. The overwhelming feedback from comments agree: keep the black caps. Thanks for the feedback!
