You should sell these - I would buy it (with some modifications).

I built myself a winch bumper. I wanted one that didn't block the intercooler and doesn't stick out too far. I have a 2 door base so not worried about cameras. I intended for it to be as light as possible. Not sure I accomplished that at 95lbs. I used 2x4 rectangular tubing, 3/8" plate, a Harbor Freight winch plate, and a Barnes Off-road bull bar. Painted with Rustoleum self etching primer, and "truck bed coating". Total materials cost was $350 not counting consumables (welding wire, gas,i Grinding disks, etc...). OK on to the pictures.

I love it when people experiment with this vehicle! What's with the yellow Bilstein shocks on a Base? Did you part that out? How?

I will eventually add some lighting. No solid plans yet. I'm currently trying to decide if I want a 1" leveling kit to compensate for the weight of the bumper and winch. It sagged at least 1/2". I am also thinking about a "bash plate" under the bumper to replace the plastic air dam thing on there now.
4wp makes a bash plate. Do you know if the Ford bash plate can be bolted on irrespective of the bumper?

Very cool!!
Based on current steel pricing it still can't be that cheap to build.

Have not verified myself, but, Ford said originally that their bash plate works with the Modular only. However, since then, the Capable bumper is now standard on the Badlands and Black Diamond, and they both have bash plates.

I personally don’t like the way that looks, but it’s much better than the guy who made his own headliner. Good job though, it looks really well made, as long as YOU like it, that’s all that matter.

My Carb gray basequatch bro! I love it. Better looking than so many options I’ve seen! Well done dude! If I didn’t live on the other side of the country I’d be dropping by to check it out and maybe buy one from you.
