Do we know what “sideview mirror LED approach lamps and spotlight” is

Included in the LUX package. Any details what this option adds? Is it essentially puddle lights?

it's a nice feature that let's you know when somebody is close to or in your blind spot. a light/small dot comes on the side mirror on the middle bottom of it warn you not to change lanes.

Its actually included in the HIGH package. If you look at the wildtrak and FE picture, their sideview mirrors have white plastic instead of orange. Im assuming they act as spotlights?

The Spotlight is the white LED that shines sideways.
The Security Light is a white LED on the bottom of the mirror that turns on and shines on the ground when you click the "Unlock" doors.
The BLIS is hidden behind the mirror in the bottom corner.

Ya. Not really feeling no analog tachometer on a manual transmission vehicle but maybe the digital crap is okay. Not a dealbreaker by any stretch.

led approach lamps are "puddle lamps" as you approach the vehicle with keyless entry they light up the ground certainly with the bronco logo. The other was described above.

Revisiting this as I’ve been considering the high package. If anyone knows what the continental, cadillacs and some other luxury cars do when approached I’d love to see that as well with the LED circles on the headlights and lights under mirrors. Probably won’t happen though.

Thanks for the video link as I don't remember seeing it before. To the poster who wanted to see the puddle lights, there are close-up photos of them on the Filson Rig threads.

They are different from the puddle lights. On the Raptor we have a seperate switch to activate them. I believe that they function up to 5 mph (not sure on the speed). They put out a fair amount of light to the sides. More light a police car alley light.

I'm sure the DRL will light up as well... They do on my Escape when I unlock it with the remote. What you won't see is cool, animated flow lighting when it happens.
Like Volvo and new Audi's...
