Do we know whats under the 4 door load floor hatch?

Ive seen pictures of a lift up hatch that's about 2.5' by 1.5' if i had to guess. Has anyone ever reported back what is underneath? You would hope that they would be able to fit a huge storage bin given the tire is on the tailgate, but i have a feeling it's just tools and maybe a shallow bin to add some of your own miscellaneous items.

I've been wondering this also, I haven't seen any photos of the bin open, but if its anything like the JK or JL, unfortunately its probably not very deep.

...it’s just the jack and tire iron.

The slide out tray/tailgate accessory goes on top of that whole area. So maybe there is no storage? ?‍

No problem... sorry it wasn’t the 4-door.
The under floor storage in my Jeep is perfect for some work gloves, a trailer hitch, a breaker bar and lug nut socket, and a mini collapsible stool.

Hoping for a similar space in the Bronco

I had my fingers crossed we would get a 4 ft cubic cubby close in size to a model Y. Given the tire in the back. Maybe not as deep but the equivalent size of a dummy spare. Perfect opportunity to upsize the cargo in a new design to beat out the competition. But sounds like not much thought was put into it and we’re getting a standard tool compartment. But then again the model y doesn’t have an exhaust system.
