I respect that you wanted it and they offered it, just the way you wanted and needed. What I am saying is Ford should kept it a 2 door only. If Chevy offered a Corvette in a 4 door, don't you think someone that always wanted one, but needed 4 doors, would buy it? Of course, but don't expect the Corvette owners to be ok with that configuration.

Please don't get me wrong. I'm happy that you are happy. Just like adding modifications, you might like the look, but don't expect everyone to like it and compliment your mods. And darn sure don't try to say they are wrong for not liking what you like.
It would sell like hot cakes, look at the porsche panamera. Welcome to America, we can't climb past a reclining seat. I'm off to McDonald's...

Your getting butt-hurt, you interjected yourself with pain in your words, which I more than welcome. No, I was specifically talking about your wants (remember the removable doors, windows, manual trans, etc.) and actual needs. I never mentioned rock-crawling and no, most are not rock crawling. Most are in the city, at the mall.

Maybe you need to zoom in, remember what you say and stay on topic.
Nobody needs this vehicle specifically. It's all about wants. This entire premise is irrelevant and has nothing to do with your initial assertion that the other guy should have bought a Bronco Sport.

I heard a doctor say, "Ronald McDonald has killed more people than Phillip Morris." Their may be some truth to that. :p

A fictitious character killing people... hmm, that's food for thought.

Sorry, I have to disagree to you, as well. A Bronco sport should have been your "go to", if you need the space. Plenty of 4 door options and keep the Bronco what it always was.
Comments like this crack me up. As if folks at corporations would wake up one day and think, screw the money what we would really do is make a vehicle that's true to the original. If Ford made the bronco a 2 door it would last a few years at the most before being discontinued. I've said it before, without the 4 door there wouldn't be a 2 door

I'd believe it. Ronald McDonald gets to sell his poison to kids, a whole demographic that PM can't legally cater to.

4 Door Vette?

So they can drive the grandkids around?

If you have kids and a Vette they're very likely adults.

Not insulting them at all, statistics aren't judgments.

I like the 2 door and wanted more maneuverability rather than space but there's a big issue with it. My 2 door squatch makes some really nasty noises when I drive it. Oddly it comes from the right door/right seat area and only happens when I drive with my short spouse who hates 2 doors. Like everyone says offroad vehicles are known for interior noise and it's just one of the compromises.

Also for all the 4 door trash talk that poster did list stick shift as priority two and I can really get behind that. If the bronco didn't have a stick I wouldn't be in one no matter how many doors (I don't think I'm better you for this opinion and also do realize that the auto will be better offroad, I just like driving this way)

It's great that the 4 door allows people to own something they like that meets their needs but I just don't get why 4 door owners just can't accept and agree that the 2 door is the superior Bronco

I'll call absolute bullshit on this. ALL......reinforcing that statement.....ALL previous versions of Broncos have been 2-Doors. Your logic is absolutely flawed. Now, Ford is smart enough to realize they will sell more vehicles if they can sell a bazillion mall-crawlers, and that is what their calculus has resulted in. They are banking on that and it pisses me off.......and it makes all of you feel good that have taken delivery on or have ordered a 4-door. I am a purist, having owned two EBs ('71 and '77), the only 6G Bronco that honors the spirit of the "real" Bronco is the 2-door!!!

I got a good laugh out of your nonsense. All previous broncos were 2-doors and the model was discontinued for over 20 years. I think my logic is solid. You can be a "purist" all you want but that doesn't change the facts. 4-doors are outselling 2-doors by more than 2 to 1. If Ford didn't release the 4-door they would have had to either cancel the bronco in a couple of years or invest significantly less in it to make it worth their while
