I guess to clarify my question. Does Ford think they are stealing Jeep would be buyers and who are they? I don’t think the buyers are Jeep “would have beens” but rather Ford brand loyalist. As a previous Jeep owner (thank my wife I was kicking and screaming the whole time)would I have not ordered two Broncos? I don’t think being a prior Jeep owner Ford stole me away it was the fact the brand was just that bad with no good 4x4 top down going to OBX,NC options. Not trying to start the Jeep vs Ford here.

Curious as to what vehicle is being moved out of the garage or traded for your new Bronco(s)? Do you fit the Ford demographic? So I guess I'll start had a 2015 Jeep mall crawler hated it and traded it for a diesel Porsche Cayenne for the 7K towing. Bronco takes the Porsche garage spot. Porsche gets moved to the shop not much of a downgrade going to shop.

I had no idea Porsche makes a diesel car nowadays, so that had me chuckling, but I stopped paying attention to them a long time ago, once I realized I'd never be able to afford a 911 Turbo Convertible. That was in the early 90es :)

For me the Bronco will be a pure and completely unnecessary vehicle I don't need, but want. And I hope it'll inspire me to get out of town more often, get off the roads and explore somewhere out there, under the stars.
I'll hold on to my 19 year old Tacoma though, it'll easy last an other 10 years with the amount of driving I actually have to do, vs want to do. The want will be on the Bronco, the have to will be the Taco, keep the battery charged and the gas exchanged.

Nice row of rigs in that photo! Funny to see how small the Porsche actually is, I guess my Taco would be in between the Porsche and the pretty green truck.

It will be replacing my old JK as my DD. I will miss this old car, she will be at at least 220k when I sell her off.

Officially the Bronco is replacing a Mustang Drop top.

Unofficially, it's actually replacing a 2007 Expedition, because I traded in the Mustang a couple weeks ago on the wife's new F-150. (and a used Expy is worth absolute trash on the used market, so I'm driving it until my Bronco shows up or I get so pissed at FoMoCo I order a Taco.)

Four Pintos (orange, green, blue, and yellow - it was the 1970's...), one 1st-gen Escort, one '87 Ranger STX, and a '99 F150. Do I qualify?

Just a dumb question... You needed a Cayenne because of the 7,000 pound towing capability?

Asking for a friend ;)

I drove passed our Fire Department yesterday and there were 8 large Ford pickup trucks - all parked next to each other and backed in. As a VW guy all my life, I shook my head and thought...this is a very different venture for me. Haha.

I bet 1% of these beefed up pickups see a rock or sand in this country.

Only ever had 1 vehicle that wasn’t a Ford... guess they’re just stuck with me, whether they like it or not.

I own an Fi50 that will get replaced.

However, if the Bronco was not coming OR stayed as the Bronco Sport, I'd be getting a Wrangler in 3-5 years instead.

Downsizing to 1 vehicle. Already sold (for $8,000. more then I paid for it) my '19 Stingray and will be trading my '19 Honda Civic on a '22 Wildtrak.

Truth be known after a spun bearing at 60K miles and no warranty due to it being deleted. I didn't know if I even wanted to deal with Ford anymore. I got rid of these

to buy a beach house, didn't care for harsh ride of the empty SD. And pulling my little 6x12 enclosed around behind the SD looked dumb. Plus I could do a 6ish hour trip and cut 45ish minutes off my travel time due to squirtability through traffic in a Porsche. Now I'm driving an F150 on the weekends and my work Sprinter during the work week.

I sold it all man!!! didnt want to hear anything from the wife.. Sold the 2006 Kawasaki with 10K miles on it, then sold the 2011 Audi A4 (loved that car), then finally sold the 2006 Dodge RAM 2500 4x4 Quad Cab with 105K on it. took all the cash put in bank to put all down on the Bronco (Which is nearly HALF) and bought a $2500 VW to drive around until the day Ford delivers.. im anxious to say the least..
