Does anyone have a photo of the upper control arm? Also, have we confirmed the offset for the Sasquatch rim? Asking for all of 6G

Similar to this (on a ranger). Anyone have photos? Non BL/Sasquatch preferred. Trying to determine how much the control arm protrudes from the face of the spindle. If similar to a ranger, it could be our biggest constraint

We also have this from the Sasquatch. But I’m not sure if that control arm is unique to the hoss suspension on the badlands and Sasquatch. It doesn’t seem to protrude as much. Maybe 1/4” less of a lip on the upper control arm which makes a big difference as that equates to 0.5” in overall tire width.

I think I saw somewhere on here that Sasquatch wheel offset was either +30 or +35, we just figured that out in the last week or so

Where were you rubbing and what tire width?

the math is telling us this should work. Especially if the BL has 32.7 x 11.2. Putting math aside I don’t see why a 33.2 x 11.1 wouldn’t work. The assembly looks awfully close to a ranger. So it’s concerning to hear ranger guys can’t fit 33s. Bronco has crash bars spaced out. So if you got rubbing on your ranger on 33s and it’s the crash bars that should be a problem for bronco guys. If it’s because on the control arm that could become a problem. Photos of the sas control arm looks like a slender control arm compared to the ranger.

so where were you rubbing?

I followed what others had figured out. I am running 285/70/17 on 17x9 20mm offset fuel shok wheels. This size and offset was what seemed to be what everyone was recommending. and yes it does rub the crash bar but also the offset was to help the clearance for the control arm.

32's are the largest you can fit on a Ranger without removing/replacing the crash bars. That's why I only went up to 32's on mine with the stock wheels and have never had any rubbing issues. Not that it's a big deal but I wanted to keep it simple and not spend a lot of time or money.

Ok good. Confirmed newer control arms on sas are also on big bend. Great news. Much less of a lip compared to ranger. Less of a problem. Looks like ford shaved off 1/4”

ranger shot and diagram. Followed by sas and big bend

So Ladybronco posted this yesterday that shows the crash bars on the BL base. It looks like there is still plenty of room between the crash bars. We were told there was only one crash bar on BL but two are there and the 33s fit. As long as the BL base rim is not a different offset that the OB or BD then its all good. There is way more room there than I thought.

We have exact dimensions of crash bar from the factory. I laid it out in will 33s fit sticky thread under tires category.
