And I have not taken the keys out of my super duty in probably 3 years. Use the keypad daily. It’s liberating never having keys in your pocket.
I've never had a keypad so I'm sure it's easy to get in the habit of leaving the keys inside. However, I know a guy that did the same until his F150 was stolen. At first they were just rummaging through it until they found the keys in the console. They then just took the truck. He had a nasty fight with the insurance company.

If you connect to your home wifi you can use the start and unlock features when you are on your driveway. As long as your home network reaches to where you park.

Or if you have Xfinity there might be an available public hotspot where you work or frequently park that you can have it auto connect to.
