I have the aluminum one for my two GSP’s.
They have no problem going up and down. With the height of the Bronco this will be perfect.

I use this one too. Found it on Amazon. Simple design, works great.

These two both will be jumping in and out without a step. When they get too old I’ll give them a hand.

This is what I do for my Rough Collies too. I help them up/down in vehicles, and plan on doing that for the Bronco too :D

Have two dogs... a 2yr old 95lb Golden Retriever and a 9 month old 45lb Australian Retriever. We currently are in a Flex and am concerned about their (mainly the golden) ability to get in and out of the Bronco.

I have a 4 Door Badlands non-Sasquatch coming and was wondering about other folks' experience of their dogs getting in and out.

Do they get in and out via the tailgate or the back seat doors? How is the height for larger/older dogs?

Thanks.
like you i have a 2018 flex. dont know what to do. my 5 year old collie we lift into the flex now. i got 4 door outerbanks with sasquatch coming. will be tough getting her into that. thinking maybe keep flex as dog car. depends on what dealer offers me as trade in price.

These 2 jump in the back seat of a GMC 2500HD on 35s. The AMP steps help. Will put expel on the door stills of the Bronco. Both are working dogs that get a lot of exercise. Have no problems jumping now.

This is my copilot Trooper a 124lbs Dutch Sheperd he has no trouble jumping in my Jeep on 35" tires. When I get my Bronco next year he will own the back cargo area.

My Jeep is 4" higher than stock and my 93lb amstaff american bully mix can launch himself onto the backseat or into the trunk, it will be interesting to see how he does getting into the squatched BL we have coming soon. Heck even our little 20lb king charles cavalier can jump in our current Jeep!

I love my Flex and would love to keep it, but it is a lease. Cannot justify the purchase of the Flex AND the Bronco.

However, I am liking a lot of the options people have put here in terms of ramps and trailer hitch steps. Will have to get the Bronco and see how they do with some of the options and what works best.

It seems clear the answer is a ramp (or equivalent) for really big or old dogs. Question is what is the slope of the ramp? And what length does it need to be to be navigable. To get a feel for that we need cargo bed height. Mine is a Sas. I searched and could not find that. Does anyone have it handy? Many thanks in advance!

When I had a WT demo for 3 days my 84 lb pit hated it. He can clear the jump. Problem is the top reduces his clearance so he's scared. Had to help him in.

Worst part is he comes to work with me daily so this isn't a weekend problem lol

My 80# 5 year old Golden, Macie, always needed help getting in the Yukon with side steps as well as my LR3 before that.

Now she gets in rear passenger door of the Bronco OBX on 32s unassisted (step is wider, maybe, or spaced more to her liking)
