Don’t Forget Your Bronco Cabin Filter

So I just came back from the Texas Bronco off-roadeo in Austin & let me tell you it’s definitely worth it. While there I was curious & as how dirty the cabin filter gets from using these off-road so much. Let me tell you if you plan on using yours like they do here at the event you might want to check it pretty frequently. They get dirty pretty quick!

generally you can beat most of the dust out of those filters if they get clogged up and start to impair your A/C air flow. it is like an engine air filter, you should be able to clean them using compressed air also...

Thank god they made it easy to access… my mustang requires me to pull off the front cowl and squeezing my hand between the firewall just to get a look at the thing. Wife’s Jetta is fairly similar to this but has some screws (which are a PITA to find and get back in).

Was just thinking the same thing regarding compressed air. I would actually use that air to blow that intake tract out when changing filters. I’m sure it’s coated in the same dirt.

Process was pretty much the same on my JK, except FCA was too cheap to actually include one. I guess they figured it was not a requirement for soft top deliveries?

Wow, I’m also a moron for not reading he post and just clicking on the shiny video - I didn’t realize you had filmed that LOL. Sorry.
