Purchased and love the look of this step but the front bracket is not long enough where the step sits. If I step closer to the front it does give in and bend. Go Rhino says they are working on it and a fix is not close. Ill attach a photo of the issue and the go rhino response.
Loved this step because it hides the unsightly seam below the doors.

Update: they have made good by fabricating and sending the correct length front brackets.

That sucks, I was just admiring those in your thread the other day

What's the D6 difference?

Its a different look and I do not know if it would cover the pinch welds. I can always have that incorrect front bracket configured by the local welder I guess.
This is pretty ridiculous they dont have the correct parts in the kit before sending out to retailers, a huge failure.

Ugh, that'd be frustrating - Ordering these, waiting for them, installing them, and then on the final moment you find they don't fit properly.

At least the company acknowledges it and is working on returning these for you. Hopefully they remove the product from their website as well until a fix is made. Maybe they'll cover the cost for you to get it locally "fixed" if it means you don't need to return/ship back the product? Worth inquiring.

Holy crap... just send them back,
Ford Bronco Don't buy Go Rhino rb20 side steps. Updated. 20211001_125226
like that process will be simple. SMDH Having a different bracket fabricated may be just as easy. Watching this thread hoping for a satisfactory solution.
@Jacksonholio our builds are similar. Rapid Red "Big Squch " with RB20 boards, and Rider "retro graphic" for me. I think that's a pic of your rig that I'm using as an avatar. :)

By bending, do you mean it pulls down when you tighten the bolts, or its so flimsy it actually bends the metal in the step. From the picture, it looks like you just need a spacer between the bracket and the step frame.

Thats a biggg OOOF. I admire their willingness to help make it right for you but my god if that isnt the definition of a major QC issue I dont know what is
Yeah, might be an issue from the rush to be one of the first to market

I rushed out and grabbed a set trying to avoid the forthcoming backorder of Bronco parts, now that folks are starting to take delivery of their rigs.

Of course, I meant the rush/incentive by the aftermarket part suppliers to get something out there

Is this bracket supposed to fit in this slot/hole when correct??

Either take a cutter and remove this corner or get a metal fab shop to make a longer bracket or have existing bracket extended, cut in half and add a piece of flat stock to the bracket. Don't see why it's that hard to fix??

Simple temporary fix.... washers... or plate with holes in it.... may need longer bolts....

@7722 Bronco It is probably not that difficult of a fix, but on a $750 set of running boards?
At that price point is it not reasonable to expect an excellent product, and customer experience. Not to have to fix it. myself.

I was looking at those as well.

The pictures I have seen of other vehicles with the RB20, the "stubby-er" end / angle of the board is at the rear wheel (as well as the logo end being at the front / passenger door). Are you sure that running board in the picture is on the correct side?

Still looks like the brackets are too short.

EDIT: Different pictures on Google have them on different vehicles facing different ways - so who knows......

Totally agree with you!!! Was more of a dig at GoRhino and R&D department. Young engineers over thinking a simple fix.
