Am I the only one that assumed the door bags were included for all models?

@Ourbroncolife patiently explained to me that all models come with bags for the roof panels (front for 2dr or front/mid for 4dr).

Door bags are extra?

The only door bags I’m seeing in the accessory list are Cover King “Garage Bags” not the ones shows in the Bronco Nation video. Assuming that means they don’t have the anchor straps, harness, etc

Also in that list are the Cover King Roof Panel Bags - also listed as “Garage”.

The door bags aren’t listed in the accessories list.(At least in the B&P). They are listed under interior options for $350. Seeing as you have a BD logo, the bags don’t show up for me in the Black Diamond B&P, so that might be your issue. Just a bug, they are available on all models.

Ah! The infamous Black Diamond bug.

I guess that’s part of the reason I thought they were included.
I’d rather buy them separately than included in the loan amount anyhow.

I kept on going back and forth between accessory catalog, B&P and looking at old build PDFs that I saved and could have sworn they were “included” at one point. I guess $350 ain’t so bad.

Thanks y’all!

If you order the door bags for the two door, will the doors actually fit in vehicle? Thought I read they will not. Seems the cost should be less for a two door, as its only half the door bags. However cost is the same for both

For some reason the BD doesn't allow them in the B&P. $350 though.

No, the 2 door doors will not fit in the back (normally) because they are longer than the truck is wide.

Yeah, that's a fail. I guess with the seats down. As much as I love the 2DR...it's in no way practical unless we were a couple of DINKs (double income, no kids).

I do dream of having a 2DR Manual as "all mine" ....one day.

She Who Must Be Happy isn’t going to be cool with no-door travel for a long time, so I didn’t even bother for now. I’ll just get them after market in a few years.

I’m still amazed she was cool with the purchase at all. Then Badlands Luxe? I’m not going to push it - not one more bit.

Cant get the soft top right now anyways. No point worrying about taking the doors off until I get a few miles on it and she relaxes to the whole convertible no-door concept

realistically, that’s only going to be for vacations and weekend trips anyway. I live in a big city area. Lots of thieves prowling around. Rag top just invites one of those morons to cut the top instead of try the door handle.

Well, this clarifies things. I’m a visual person and this image CLEARLY shows doors in bags but the verbiage is certainly regarding the top.

Not seeing the option for door bags I just assumed. And you know what they say about assuming.

I wanted to order the bags on my Black Diamond, but my dealer was unable to add them. There was something wrong with the order codes. Were any of you able to get a dealer to add them to your order ?

This sounds off to me.

This is my understanding:

Both 2 door and 4 doors only come standard with a first row panel bag. (Hard top only of course).

For $350 you can add the 4 doors. (2 doors can not be stored in the back anyway so don't know about those)

The Mid panel (if a 4 door), is a totally a stand alone optional accessory that is not even listed on BP but is in the leaked list of ones you can order from the parts department.

So in the end...say for a 4 door, buying all bags will be around $500.

Debating if I want the door bags. Advantage with a 2 door is easier to carry into hotel room, and not scratch I guess.

I ordered the door bags for my 2 door Badlands, and no, they're not for on vehicle storage. They'll be nice for storing doors in the garage or chained to a tree at camp ;)

Yep I added the extra bags for my 4-door because for $87.50 a bag I am not going to find as nice of a bag for storing in the garage, could care less about on board storage.
