Doors Off Question ignition off/acc/on ?

When removing the doors should the ignition be in off or "half on" or "full on" position?

My first time coming up soon.

I checked the owners manual. Page 339 helps. Looks like Off is the answer.

I read a story somewhere.....they took off the doors in "half on" position and it drained the battery overnight.
