I got lucky enough to borrow a dealer demo who I've nicknamed Alice!
Huge thank you to @Tommy@DaveSinclairFord
First off Alice is a 4 Door Area 51 Big Bend! She sat on Fuel Covert Wheels in a 20inch. Also a 2inch Rough Country Lift.
Her treads were 35inch Toyo Open Country MTs. She hummed with the 2.3. Alice also had the added AUX stitches, rear tailgate table, JBL sound-bar, rear locker added!
My first stop was gas! Topped her off about $50 bucks or so, had 287 miles to empty.
So after getting her home that evening the first test was..would she fit in my garage.
No problems their. Had and 6 inches to spare. I’ve got a shelf in my garage so I was pretty much nose to shelf.
The next day I got up bright and early. About 730 and off I went. A few people I work with wanted to see her. So I spent an hour letting them look her over. Of coarse they are also in love with the bronco. After that I took off to spend the day driving to few of my favorite places and just wanting to spend seat time to see how I’d get along with extended road trips.
I spent a good 9 hours in her before dropping her back off at Dave Sinclair Ford. Not only was she comfortable, she was peppy, and tons of fun. The full day I spent on her I was averaging 15.5 mpgs. She had about 760 miles on her I picked her up and around 1200 when I dropped her off.
I stayed mostly in normal mode, expect for the first night in town I had some fun in sport.
Here’s he rest of the pictures and a video of a Forest Road I roamed on. The video was about 30 minutes then I sped it up to 8. I average around 5-25mph on the road. Pulling off at a few pull off. Their road is called Eagle Mountain. It’s got several trails throughout. I could not take Alice though. The trails are tight with lots of trees. I would of scratched the crap out of her!
