Downpipe and exhaust recommendations for Bronco Raptor?

Looking to upgrade my down pipes and exhaust.. waiting to see what awe comes out with

what else is available or coming?

There is only one option each now, SPD and Magnaflow and both offer abysmal performance gain per dollar (or perhaps zero...).

This!!! combined, you’re looking at ~$6500+ for just sound! No point in doing down pipes (unless you’re upgrading turbos).

I'm between a couple different downpipes but the only two I've really heard of are SPD and CVFabrication. I was really just looking for one that would add some nice turbo spool sound.

I know of one guy with bigger turbos (who also has SPD). They used his Bronco to test fitment/ performance and should be releasing them soon.

As for downpipes I have SPD (non-GESI: $1700) and love the sound of them. Paired with a 5 star tune, Cobb IC, and S&B its definitely a helluva lot faster than stock

Hey there, hoping you can answer something for me since you guys are familiar with the spd downpipes and braptor. I was on YouTube and someone mentioned that the SPD downpipes Didn’t fit properly with the magna flow exhaust system for the braptor. The person mentioned it was an error on the SPD downpipes. Wondering if you had any insight?

I assume you have the stock exhaust and added the downpipes? Can you tell a newbie what an upgraded intercooler does and what S&B is?

Correct! The upgraded intercooler keeps the temperatures lower and more consistent. “No power lost is power gained” mentality. The S&B cold air intake replaces the factory air box under the hood and has a few benefits as well. The obvious ones are in looks better than stock and has a nice whooshing sound that can be heard when accelerating. In theory the S&B (or K&N) allow more air through to the turbos and give you a small HP boost.

Copy that. TBH, the sound clip from the downpipes make the Braptor sound damn good. The AWE exhaust sound clips I heard I was not very impressed with. I mean how impressed can you be with a turbo 6 exhaust right? Is there any HP gaiend with the exhaist? If not, then the downpipes at $800 less seem to be the move if you are talking purely sound aspect

In case anyone is still looking, CP-E now has downpipes (3 variants) for the Bronco Raptor which uses cast bell housing. I have no affiliation with them but here's the link if anyone's interested.

I would recommend the SPD downpipes, very good quality and great fitment!

There are also axle back, catback, and turbo back systems out as well for the Bronco. It just depends what you are looking to get, and how much of an upgrade you want to do. If you are wanting more of a sound upgrade, check out the cat back systems!
