Dreaded Passenger Side Tapping Noise

So enough can be said about the interior noises in this thing. Having more issues than I thought I would have. I believe I’ve tracked down one of them, and hope that this can help someone else.

I also Want to note that I am having an issue with the plastic cover that goes over the soft top latch. This particular noise is heard with that part being removed. Has anybody run across this and come up with a fix? I’m going to pull this trim piece off later and see what is underneath it, maybe I can get a piece of rubber to attach to the other side.

Update: I was able to fix the one and it’s quiet now, but I believe I found the real culprit. The pillar that is up front that goes alongside the dash, both driver side and passenger side do this. I want to get them off and see what I’m dealing with first, but hopefully is as simple as some felt padding behind them on the bend.
