Ford has dropped the vacuum operated IWE in favor of electronic version. Not sure if that will apply to the Bronco but it likely will. The 2021 F150's should now have the electronic version. The Vacuum version is a nightmare. With any luck you'll never need to know. Integrated Wheel End. Another word for it is junk.
I was thinking it was more obtuseNo, but it is abit acute.
Do you have more info on this? I haven't come across any info on a change from vacuum IWEs. Anything would be an improvement over existing, I bet.Ford has dropped the vacuum operated IWE in favor of electronic version. Not sure if that will apply to the Bronco but it likely will. Nothing that can be officially disclosed. My company is a supplier to the company that makes the IWE's. The 2021 F-150 should be the first vehicle to have the electronic IWE. Yes, it should be a huge improvement over the vacuum version. No idea if the Bronco will receive the same setup.Do you have more info on this? There's varying degrees.I was thinking it was more obtuse
ok nerds, did you notice the rear diff cover? It looks like the edge of the cover is a couple mm away from the housing edge. It’s smaller than the machine edge it is bolted to. This will help to prevent the dreaded Oops of peeling back the diff cover when it drags on a rock and dumping all your diff oil on the trail.
This is most likely incorrect. Ford has possibly made it worse. Vacuum line still present but electronic addition.Ford has dropped the vacuum operated IWE in favor of electronic version. It is electronic. No more vacuum operated hubs. This is most likely incorrect. Ford has possibly made it worse. Vacuum line still present but electronic addition.

not sure on the factory differences. that procomp one looks to be adjustable and have a raised bracket on the other side. you won't need to weld anything onSo, let's talk pan hard bar and lifts. Is there a difference in the bar or mounts on the squatch vs standard suspension? Is this new bracket to run 37s welded on? I understand all the up front stuff I need to do in a lift, but am not as well versed on anything not a leaf spring rear setup. What will need to be done to lift a couple of inches to keep the rear axle centered?
So the new bracket on the axle is bolted to the existing bracket? Just hard to tell what’s going on in that picture.not sure on the factory differences. that procomp one looks to be adjustable and have a raised bracket on the other side. you won't need to weld anything on
