I’ve noticed that the auto-close for my driver window doesn’t close on its own to completion. It will get 1/4 -1/2 closed and then stop. That is not the case for the other windows. is this the case for anyone else?

There is a procedure in the Technical Service Manual to re-initialize the power door windows...

PS - Please accept my condolences for the driver's widow. 😢;)

unfortunately, this didn't fix my issue. IT seems like about half the time when I use the switch on the console, the window stops before closing all the way. It's not every time. but it does happen frequently. If I'm the only one with this issue I might have to schedule an appointment. :-(

Hey there! I can look into your Bronco’s window concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

My front passenger side window does this but I’ve noticed it’s mainly when I already have at least two windows going up. Like when all the windows are down and I put up the back ones first then do the fronts.

I'm getting the same issue with my driver side window. Originally, the passenger window would stop 3/4 way up, then it closes and comes down about that same distance. The dealership "fixed" it, but it hasn't stopped. Now, my driver's side window has completely stopped going "automatically up". I have to hold it get the whole way up.

Mine have done this a couple times as well over the last couple weeks, but I have also had all 4 windows down and have been putting them up all at once so that might be the issue.

Oh man, so I just went out to the garage and spotted how big of a problem this is. If the windows don’t “go down then up” on their own when you open and close the doors, it looks like this. That’s a decent gap!

Same random issue with front passenger side.
Same.

Happens most often when I roll all 4 windows up at the same time. Typically right front (passenger) window.

You are not the only one. Happens to me, seemingly randomly, every so often. Just have to cycle it a time or two and all good.

I haven't tried the reset procedure yet though. I've just been dealing with it.

I'm in the same boat. Same window, same scenario.
