I have not placed an order yet with my res, as I was waiting on manual Squatch. I still plan on selling this one shortly before taking delivery of the 2-door ManSquatch as planned.
Ok, now I remember. In this scenario, I'd be more inclined to not push the Maryland Lemon Law and consider the fix and keep driving it until the 2dr ManSquatch arrive. I don't envy the situation you're in. Good luck.

Update #4 8/26/21
Well, my Bronco has been in the dealership's service center for a month now. A few days ago, I finally got to talk to a Ford powertrain engineer. He was super nice and more knowledgeable than anyone else I have talked to. He evaluated my video and showed it to people from the Bronco/Ranger and Mustang powertrain divisions. They are supposed to be providing a resolution to the dealer by 8/31. However, under Maryland law, it will qualify legally as a lemon as of tomorrow because it will have been out of service for 30 days. Technically, they'll be on the hook to replace it or buy it back.

UPDATE #3 8/6/21
So, the story is getting worse. After 10 days at the dealer, I still don’t have the Bronco back. They put a whole new clutch in, but that did not solve the problem. Now they cannot figure out what the issue is. I can’t get in touch with anyone at Ford that has any authority to do anything, so I guess I am stuck. So if anyone has had any success getting in touch with anyone at Ford about issues, please let me know who you called.

UPDATE #2:
It’s officially with Ford for service. No idea how long it will be in there, but I’ll keep this thread posted for anyone who’s interested.

UPDATE:
I got in the Bronco to take a quick spin and the issue came back and is worse. I can hear the juttering even when I’m not pushing in the clutch. The Bronco is not driveable, so looks like I’ll be having it towed to the dealer. @Ford Motor Company I’d love your input.

So, I am 620 miles into Bronco ownership and have had three issues so far with the latest being potentially the most troubling. The first issue occurred immediately. The airbag light came on day 1 and I’ve had a driver’s side airbag circuit fault ever since. I was going to hold off taking it in for work until the break-in period is over because I don’t trust the dealership to respect the “take it easy” mandate in the manual. The second issue was a minor one. The driver window will not go all the way up on one touch. It stops halfway up every time. Also not urgent. Then last night I was cruising home and I slowed to make a turn and pushed the clutch in. It immediately started doing this weird “juttering” kind of thing. I could feel the jutter coming through the clutch pedal and I could hear whatever it was. It did not feel or sound good. I was still able to shift. It did this for the next three shifts and then went back top normal. I’ve not driven it since, but I figure if it happens again, I will have to suck it up and go to the dealer. I really wanted to get the break-in period accomplished before putting it in the hands of dealership mechanics. So, about the issue itself, does anyone know if the clutch has any kind of electromechanical assist to make the pedal easier? If so, it could have been the solenoid or motor binding or hangin up. That’s really all I can think of that would have felt like that. It certainly wasn’t a hydraulics issue (if the clutch is hydraulic). Thoughts? Again, I expected issues on an early build, so I’m not freaking out or anything and after two weeks of driving the 2.3 with the 7-speed, I wouldn’t take the 2.7 and 10 speed even as a free upgrade. The manual is so much fun. @Ford Motor Company any ideas what this could be?
I've only read the OP. But this sounds a lot like my first year JL. Had it for 3 weeks before the manual transmission went out. Dealer had it for over a month with no fix in site. I ended up finding a few really high up jeep corporate emails. Sent an email stating my issues and how it was now available for lemon law.

The next day I had a phone call from the CEO's assistant. Got a check for 3 months worth of payments, 6 year oil change service plan, and a lifetime warranty. Had a brand new transmission in the Jeep a week later.

Overall it was worth the wait. What I'm saying is that you might want to start searching for some high up contact info.

I believe I took a chance on using the standard format email that jeep uses. Something like [email protected]
I did a lot of googling to make sure I was pretty positive that one would get through to someone important.

I swear to God dealerships don't use mechanics anymore...
Well trained in plugging in a diagnostic tool, and following a yes/no problem solving software. Oil and tire changes, sure... No prob.

Obd's and the like have taken most of the fun out of modern auto repair... I got out long ago because of this very thing. Techs don't think or diagnose just plug in and replace....

Sorry to hear about this. I know he has gotten crap here on the forum but I'd reach out to Mike Levine. He has helped customers with issues in the past. He email is floating around the forum. If you have trouble finding it, DM me and I will be more than happy to send it to you.

My wife used Maryland lemon law on a 1989 Oldsmobile. Whenever it rained the car would have several inches of water inside. After six trips to the dealership, they tried to simulate a fix by placing sheet plastic under the carpet. Unfortunately for them, carpet isn’t installed under the seats these days, so after a rain I stuck my hand under the seat, felt the installed plastic. I poked my finger through the plastic and out came the water. Filed the required paperwork and followed the procedures. Went to arbitration . After each side expressing their version of the facts, the moderator suggested we run the car through a car wash that was located at the arbitration site. We had never ran it in a car wash due to the leaking, and I remember thinking no lawyer in the world would agree to this unless they had already done this and knew it would leak. I decided to roll the dice and let the car go through the car wash. I was sweating bullets as it progressed through the wash. When it came out there was three inches of water inside the car. Olds rep then wanted to give us a new car. I told him, “ that is what we wanted months ago, but you refused and made us go through this process. Now we want our money refunded.” We had the car for a year and put 10K miles on it. In the end we received 95% of our purchase ( we had paid cash) . You don’t get back the sales tax. Which is a rip off since you no longer have the product you pad tax on. Moral of the story. Use the lemon law. It can be time consuming and a pain, but worth it. Good luck.

It is weird that something like this goes on for so long and then disappears into thin air. It makes you wonder who has talk to who and threatened white ? Maybe we will find out I have to admit I am curious .

Yes, I talked to Ford twice yesterday and missed a call from the dealer. The new engine is at the dealer apparently and they are in the process of installing. I am still waiting on the buyback team to call me. They were supposed to call Tuesday, but I still have not heard from them. The customer specialist said a buyback has been approved, but I am waiting to talk to them to see what the "offer" is. They can legally deduct up to 15% for use, but I put 580 miles on it in about 10 days. They should offer me 100%. I am hoping they will offer me a replacement that hasn't been torn apart, but if not, I will likely just take it back and hope the value is not too diminished. Any opinions on this? Should I push for a replacement? Just sell it back to them and walk away? Keep it and hope for the best?

While I have to conclude that Ford has not handled this particularly well, I think it's because Broncos have a LOT of problems and they have their hands full right now. It is interesting that the member on here that dropped a valve in the 2.7 was back on the road in no time while my Bronco has been down for over 6 weeks now. I think that just comes down to how easy it was to diagnose the problem. They were focused on the clutch and transmission in mine for a while before they determined the engine was the issue.

Hope for the best, and a buyback wouldn't be out of line, but even in the worst case scenario, I bet you could flip it once repaired for MSRP or better.

These MY21's are relatively rare and demand currently far exceeds supply. That's not a bad position to be in.

I don't see a vehicle with no accidents and a replacement drivetrain as having diminished value, but that's just me. Some people do, and I understand their position, but to me, I don't care as long as it's fixed and running well (save for the loss of use).

What I might push for is an extended warranty that is transferable, that would add value and cost them little.

I actually already bought the transferable extended warranty. I am going to ask them to reimburse me for that, as well as compensation for the time it's been gone (I was not offered a loaner).

I agree with Mark. I wouldn't have any problem just keeping the vehicle. If they buck on the warranty deal, I'd surely ask for a really long maintenance plan. Good luck, and I happy to hear they are finally going to get you back on the road.
