I'd say that we have to wait until we know the actual ratios in the 10 speed and/or the 7 speed as well as the drag coefficients and eleventy other factors...But think it'll probably be fine.

I plan on taking mine cross country several times. So being able to cruise at 75 to 85, depending on the state is quite important. I hadn't even thought of it being an issue outside of road/wind noise.

I would say if you get one of the more comfortable interior trims, with high or lux package, and stick with smaller less aggressive tires you should be pretty comfortable at 80 mph. May also want to get hardtop with the extra sound dampening.

Your "fine" and my "fine" are going to be different so it depends on the level of NVH you're willing to put up with to drive a Bronco. If you do most of your driving on the highway at 80mph, you'd likely be better off going with a Grand Cherokee or something similar, as it'll be far more comfortable, quiet and likely even get better gas mileage. What sort of hwy/city/offroad percentages do you anticipate using it for?

I drive the i95 Long Island to N. Carolina 4or5 times a year. Do you think this vehicle will be reasonably comfortable At 75-80 mph.
Probably -- NO!

I’ll share some completely anecdotal info.

We have taken several long road trips in a Rubicon on 33 ATs with a hardtop. I’m pretty sensitive to a lot of noise and it never bothered me. Never felt like we had to raise our voices to talk.

Obviously it’s louder than my cushy BMW but not enough to deter me from making the switch.

You might try searching for some You Tube videos for an idea of different setups and the associated noise. Sorry I didn’t save it, but I saw one recently where a guy did a before and after on installing some sound deadening material on his Wrangler.

Probably highly dependent on how your option it. I am not an offroad tire guru yet but I would assume a Bronco w/ AT tires is going to be a lot better on that trip than a sasquatch package equipped Bronco. Outer Banks for instance.

I’ve gotten up to 90 in my JK hard top and while it is loud, it’s not unbearable.

That’s what the volume knob is for!

(I also am guessing the NVH of Bronco will be way lower than a wrangler)

I've done that trip to jersey a few times from central NC in my buddy's JK on 35's. Wasn't the most fun experience in the world but that can be attributed to the other occupants of the highway more than anything.

Bronco on 35's should be noticeably more comfortable than a JK/JL on 35's, but its still an offroad-focused vehicle on 35" tires. Manage expectations here...

But if you start from Long Island at midnight you can do between 75-80 mph

I drove a JL Rubicon from Atlanta to Nashville and back in the same day. I was ready to jump off a cliff by the time I got home. Noise wasnt bad but the ride and drift were horrible.
