My new bronco is a bit too tall. Dealer said it was a 2 1/2" lift. I think it's a 3 1/2". Supposed to be a ruff country brand. Is there some spacers somewhere that can be removed to drop it an inch or so?

Bearly fits in garage. I'm 6 ft, the wife struggles to get in it. How can I tell how tall the lift is and how hard is it to drop it a couple inches? The 2 inch is just spacers so you take those off you loose your lift. The 3.5 has spacers but had other pieces with it so if you take pieces away you probably going to get a weird ride
It's a base model that the dealer put some mods on including this lift in order to add value. Could never get an answer what they paid (must have been a fortune for what they charged me. Lol)Rough Country has a 2" or a 3.5" lift for the Bronco. The 2" only has spacers, whereas the 3.5" also changes out the upper control arms. Should be about a $500 difference in price. What did you pay for the lift?
This is the kit. The upper control arms have a "RC" on them as you can see. That should tell you if they changed those out or not.
My understanding of that lift would be that you probably got about 2.5 inches of lift in the rear and 3.5 in the front to level it out. It is the same lift I am going to do. If the lift is too high for you, I would check with Rough Country to see if there is a way to modify what you have or if you will have to just remove the components and replace with a smaller lift.Yup. So I can I just remove spacers or do control arms have to be replaced?
