Dropping the MIC top, how much difference will it make get me scheduled?

Code orange with 35s. I posted some pics a few threads above this one with some aftermarket wheels I am running.

The warthog will have a base package with mgv but I doubt it will have a manual.

I mean as a second product.
Bronco Raptor all Luxe/Twin Turbo
..... then Bronco Warthog (2.3 MT Base bitch MGV but Long Travel/wide).
They would sell. Unless I missed something "warthog" nomenclature died after copywright?

I like Warthog so I keep referring to the bronco raptor as the warthog. I don’t want to have to explain to people that I drive a f150 raptor and also a bronco raptor. And warthog just sounds so cool.

I have a base 2.3L with MIC top I just ordered last week. Dealer tells me they have allocation but won't say much more. How much will dropping the MIC top help get me scheduled?

Nooooo! The only thing worse than waiting for months is…a soft top.

IF you are willing to gamble, then you could drop down to soft top TODAY and then if you get picked up on their order on this next batch, immediately then get them to try to change it back to MIC... at your own risks

We dropped the MIC top during the first week of November on our Wildtrak order and got a build date for January 17 at the last round of scheduling. It was a definite surprise, considering our August 2020 reservation date.

I did the same thing on a four door and got a January 10th build date

I would say that you would definitely benefit from switching to a softie. In my opinion, based on what I have seen, a soft top will get you your Bronco sooner. Not sure if it matters, but I love my soft top.

Nooooo! The only thing worse than waiting for months is…a soft top.

The way l see it can always get a top later, perhaps snag a 1.0 for next to nothing.

I can tell for me, I wasn't even in my dealers allocation window, when I switched to a soft top w/hard top prep kit, got scheduled for build two weeks later....makes a difference

I ordered a month ago. The dealer told me at the time that it could be around 6 to 10 months because of the hard top. However, I don't think there are any concrete answers out there. They said that if I went with the soft top, since I'm getting a basic trim, it would be about 2 to 4 months. This appears to be consistent with what I've been reading on the forum. I want the hard top and I'm not in a huge rush, so hopefully I get my order by the summer or before the ski season late 2022.

They will either have them sent back, or the dealer has to destroy them.

I tried to change my Wildtrak last week to an outer banks and my dealer could not do it. They told me the system would not let them enter any orders that had a hardtop or the 2.7.

pulled the trigger and changed from MIC to SOFT TOP 12/8/2021

I had grown weary of waiting for my 4dr/MIC/OBX/SAS/2.7, so yesterday, I ordered a 2nd 4dr Bronco without the SAS, MIC, or anything else like tow package that will slow things down. It will be interesting to see how soon it gets scheduled. I'm hoping to have it by the end of May, and it will be the primary vehicle that our youngest daughter drives. My dealer was delivering a four-door soft top first ordered in early October when I was there last night.

I did get a "your order has been confirmed" confirmation email from Ford just 20 minutes after I put down the $1,000 down payment last night.
