I believe they are relating their Focus experience and they get labeled as making excuses for an entire company? I'll apologize on behalf of "Straight 6", and thank the focus owner for sharing their Focus experience.
Nothing to see here
Ford is good

Or they knew there was a problem and kept rolling, sounds kinda pintoesque to me. Some very questionable choices by ford there.

So I read somewhere one of the Bronco test drivers said drive a crew cab Ranger 4wd if you want to know what the Bronco is like. Did just that today. It was factory lifter with 285/70s on it. Initial impressions are the 2.3 should generate enough power and torque for the Bronco especially once tuned. I was dead set on automatic trans and 2.7 for the Bronco until today, mainly because of transmission. The Ranger slushbox was constantly trying to figure out where it needed to be just pulling out of the parking lot and it got even worse driving backroads. Very disheartening on that front. May be changing my mind to 2.3, manual, non sasquatch (of course), Badlands.

It maybe needs time to learn your driving habits.

What exactly does the Ranger have in common with the Bronco? Different platform, different chassis, different suspension, different wheelbase, different length, different tires, etc.
Exactly!

I have a 10 speed in a 2018 F150. No issues with it. Outside of the Auto Stop/Start can be a little tricky if you are trying to pull out in traffic. That can be fixed with taking some pressure off the brake too though
The Bronco won’t have auto stop/start will it?!

That is unfortunately the exact same line the service guys a ford kept spouting about the powershift in the focuses

Of course this 10 speed is not mechanically related in any way, but the similarities in description are striking
The 4 cyl mustang auto trans is dog poo as well. Unless you put it in sport and literally floor it, it's a dog

Ford is listening. That said they will also look at the manual demand on the 2021 and crunch the numbers for 2022. Right now it looks like they will sell all they can make as is.
Is there even a manual available with a crawler gear? I'm sure the supplier is looking to upgrade it but it will take time.
Correct me if I'm wrong but Jeep only offers their manual with the base V6. So it could become a one up moment for Ford to act.
95 percent of ppl will buy the 2.7. They are tanking the manual on purpose

I don't know of any new car auto or manual without auto start stop. I think it's basically manditory now
2019 Hyundai Veloster N doesnt have it.
