Well, the dealership owner just called back. We’re a go! Heading out of town this weekend starting tomorrow so I’ll get it next Monday or Tuesday. Calling the Ford dealer in the AM to change my Bronco order to a 22’ and heading over to sign some Jeep paperwork tomorrow.

I’m gonna still participate here regularly and will probably keep this thread updated with my thoughts on the Jeep as I drive it for the next year or so. Any questions y’all have I’ll do my best to answer! And yes, I’ll be sure to post up wheeling pics
Congrats!!!
I love the way my JLU drives. If all goes well, I'm getting a Bronco and keeping the JLU.

If Jeep offered the diesel engine in a 2 door, I'd be driving one right now.

My Brother just swapped his 2019 Rubicon for a new Diesel model. Added tires, bumpers, aftermarket heated leather, and a warn. It is BadAss for sure. Solid Vehicle.

However, I don't understand the thinking that because there are production delays people change their mind about Broncos all together. Everyone everywhere has Production Delays!

And it is all of our fault!
If we as a nation were not so shortsighted and quiet, we could have avoided these disruptions by not letting a bunch of idiot politicians (Both Parties) shut down our economy.

So please, We all should stop blaming others (Ford, Dealers, Chip Mfgs) and remember the economy would be fine if We would start taking responsibility to Make it better.

P.S. We juts did a 3 hr trail trek to a remote part of Grand Canyon. The Jeep handled great. Trails said they required 4wd, lift and recommended lockers. I did it with a rented Jeep Compass. :)
You can wheel almost anything by picking a good line and working the pedals.
Yea letting loads more people die would have been worth it to avoid production delays. (As if that statement is even true, which it isn’t.) There’s definitely no other way to go about it!

The new 3.0L in-line 6 is going to be announced in April and hopefully will make its way in the 2023 model. That’s the motor you’re gonna want. It’s gonna roll right over the Bronco’s 2.7L and probably offer more Hp/torque than the 3.0L diesel.

While I hate to continue recently brought back from the dead threads... Stellantis made a statement the other week about it being revealed at the NYAS, that is in April.

They are going to use it (3.0TT inline 6) as a global engine in various states of tune. One of the verisons is to replace the 5.7, so it will be at least 360 horse and 390 torque and better economy. It is a foregone conclusion it is going in the Grand Cherokee (volume leader in sales for Jeep) and likely a version will get in the Wrangler/Gladiator. I would opine that Jeep will push for a H/O version in the Wrangler to 'one up' Ford, as it is their primary go to move. It would trounce the numbers on a 2.7, no question.

Yep, got a 392 “Xtreme Recon.” Love it! The V8 makes me giggle every time I start it or roll into the throttle. Threw some 37s and a 3.5” lift on, I’ll eventually swap in some bigger axles and 40s down the road. It’s not going to be a mall crawler 😎
