First time posting here. I made a youtube video to document my experience. Took about 2 full weekend days. I'll probably continue with doing the doors, floor and tailgate just to see how quiet I can get the vehicle simply because I'm curious now.

Great video....can you clarify what the "3rd layer" or "3rd step" that you say you left off was supposed to be?

And is this is final layer? Would go on top of dynamat layer?

If you’re doing true sound deadening, it would go dynamat (cld tiles), dynaliner (decoupling layer), mass loaded vinyl. In my case I skipped the mass loaded vinyl and replaced with factory headliner to maintain OEM look.

Left a comment for the YT algorithm gremlins...
Regarding the vibrations... i haven't noticed much in mine but to throw in an idea... perhaps some 'blocks' of a higher density foam that could be cut and wedged in between the roof and the crossmember in the back; maybe that'd help in that scenario?
But I haven't noticed any sort of vibration modulation or anything. I did have to put shrink tube on the pin though - fixed that crap lol.

Great video. Would love to see a decibel comparison for the wind noise or any kind of update you post. Driving this truck over 50 MPH gets really loud really fast. Perhaps the shape of the gaps between the panels is what's causing most the whistling, but sound deadening the top must surely help to quiet things down.
