Would you guys consider 7/18/2020 an early reservation? I know there’s people that reserved on the first day, and I’m sure thousands between then and the 18th. I guess there’s no way to really know yet. I just wonder if I have a shot at getting a MY21.

Previously it was stated that mid-Sept was the 2021 cutoff date. So, I would imagine you are good.

I have early morning 7/14 and late evening 7/17 reservations. I spoke with Stephens and Granger and my reservations fell roughly as follows at both in time stamp chronology.

7/14 early = 25th percentile
7/17 late = 55th percentile

Being on 7/18 you are roughly in the 56-60th percentile I'd guess. You might ask if Stephens and Granger buyers hold earlier reservations than others? Who knows? I was told by both dealers before the delays that my 7/17 res would be a MY21, but now I'm not too confident in that.

With today’s B&P news, you will get a 2021.

Stop, just stop. Viruses always mutate and the vaccines take this into account. Please do some actual research before posting stuff like this.

That's not true...that date is just one that is used to determine dealer allocations (the number they have before that date converted to orders is half of the allocation formula for MY21).

As to a 7/18 date...it's in the bottom half of orders, I would bet. I am 7/17 and figure I'm around 100,000th in line. U think if you are at a big dealer in a big market, no problem....you will get a 21 easily. Small dealer in a small market, then you might be SOL.

Im 7/23, i went to my medium to large size dealer and asked where i stood and they toggled through 24 pages of reservations before they got to mine. It seemed to have around 53 or so pages total. Curious if this is a good or bad thing haha crazy to think that being within the first 2 weeks of orders might not even be enough :/ any insight is welcome.

He is just saying, at the time he asked, 75% of all orders were placed after 7/14 early in the morning. You are in the bottom half after 7/17. This of course would be an estimate, but likely fairly accurate, if not very precise.
