How “new” are these?

@Caleb@PandaMotorworks quoted me the Eibach 2.0 coilovers and HD front springs several weeks back. They have both the rear and front versions on their website.

I’m waiting to get my armor squared away before I do the coilovers as my plan is to let Panda do the install also.
I was wondering the same thing. I’ve had the heavy duty springs for a while now.

Maybe longer travel? This is the reply I got early this year.
The question is about the front HD spring like Panda carries at that time.
Ford Bronco Eibach has FINALLY released heavy duty springs for the PRO-TRUCK COILOVER 2.0 for the Bronco Screenshot_2024-08-30-14-46-43-357_com.google.android.gm-edit

This is only for the front.

When I started reading up on the Eibach’s I recall several posts of people talking about swapping out the coil over spring with a heavier one. My takeaway was the springs in the coil over kit was lighter duty than the stock Ford springs. People reported success with “swapping” springs with Eibach. I never concluded if they paid or it was a true swap but I found it odd.

I made note and when I contacted Panda I was asking about spring rates and my concerns with heavy armor, winch, etc. My thoughts was I could order a version of the coil over kit with the better springs instead of buying a kit and immediately paying for springs to replace new springs. That’s just an inefficient use of our dollars, time & energy.

I wonder if the “first version” was a silent upgrade to get coil over spring rate to factory and now these HD one are above and beyond.

Maybe @Caleb@PandaMotorworks or other vendor can clarify?

Panda has offered off the shelf heavier rate front springs (16"x3" linear) for the Eibach coil-overs for some time. As this has been the only option until now for the fronts, this was a great option for many. But they have never had anything for the rears. The rears are a progressive spring and until this week Eibach has not made anything that would work as a heavier spring for the rear. The new front and rear are specifically tuned for their Bronco coliovers and are not off the shelf parts.

Eibach has FINALLY released the heavy duty springs for the PRO-TRUCK COILOVER 2.0 for the Bronco.

Eibach HD Springs.jpg

I have a 2022 Bronco Badlands SASQ 4 Dr with Rockhard 4x4 swing gate rear bumper with gas can mounts (about 225-250lbs over stock bumper), a diabolical rear cargo enclosure (50 lbs), Rockslide Engineering power steps (around 100 lbs), a BAMF front bumper with winch (150+ lbs over stock), plus at at least 100+ lbs in rear cargo for frig, tools, gas cans and recovery gear.

With all this added weight I lost about 2 inches in the rear with the factory SASQ Bilstein shocks and about 1 in in front. I opted to go with Eibach's PRO-TRUCK COILOVER 2.0 which, in theory, are adjustable from 0.00 to 2.75" of lift for factory weight. I went with them to basically get my stock ride height back and ended up with somewhere between 0.5 and 0.75" rear lift with the Eibach set near max ride height and the fronts are at about the middle of the adjustment range to level out the Bronco.

I have a set of the front and rear HD springs now on order with an estimated delivery around 9/6. I am hoping these will be enough spring to move up to 37s on the factory wheels. I will report back once I get them installed.
please keep us updated. I am looking at the same issue.

Tempting! I go on camping runs twice a year and the rear sags a bit - would love something like this but have to balance the ride quality the other 98% of the time when you're NOT loaded down with extra bags and stuff.

Is there a rating (lbs compression / inch) of the standard eibach springs and these?
Stock Eibach spring rate when I bought my 2.0 setup was 450lb spring rate hd are 550lb. This is for the front as the rear where not available or listed last month. Ride is not harsh at all. I may move up to the hd rear now that they are available. With our gear in the truck it does sag the rear and that’s on max settings.

Will these springs work with the stock sasquatch Bilsteins?. I need to level the front after adding the winch, winch mount and bumper.

No, these are for the Eibach coilovers only. Not the factory shocks

Finally, I have the 550lb spring upgrade on the front and been wanting something for the rear too.

My only complaint with Eibach is with their higher weight springs, you lose max adjustability they say because the stiffer springs have a taller compressed stack. Pretty annoying when you are getting stiffer springs because you lost some max lift due to weight.

Well I got the new HD springs swapped into the Coilovers. With the rear preload adjustment basically maxxed out, the rear lift is just over 2 inches higher than with the original Eibach springs with my Rockhard 4X4 Swing gate bumper with dual jerry cans and Diabolical rear enclosure.. And the fronts I have sitting about 1/2 inch lower than the rear for a slight rake. With my BAMF front bumper and winch, the preload with the new HD front springs is at about 2/3 up in the adjustibility.

As far as the ride after installing the HD srpings, overall the suspension feels slightly stiffer but not as much as I would have expected. On road, there is definitely less overall body roll with the new springs when cornering (which I am happy with). I can still take speed bumps like they are not even there. On trail, the articulation is still just as good as with the original springs. The only difference in ride quality on trail I really notice is on high speed washboard roads. Not surprisingly, there is a little more chop on the washboards but not so much that it affects your control of the Bronco.

So far, I am happy with the new springs. I am still currently running the factory SAS 315/70R17 goodyears. I have just completed installing the JKS Max Tire Clearence kit and am having a set of takeoff 37in KO2's from a Braptor installed on my SAS wheels in the next few days.

Appreciate the feedback after install. My BAMF bumper came in recently so this is now more of a priority to get squared away. By chance, do you have any feedback on nose dive mentioned by others? I will also be running a Warn 12k.

Also did you get the 37’s installed? Any change in ride quality or handling with the larger tires? I had saw a Shocks Surplus review where they got some tire dribble in the whoops. They attributed to their heavy 37x13.5’s and noted there was some sort of warning in the instructions about the coilovers not being designed for 37’s. I’ve heard others run 37’s with no issues. When I called Eibach to ask about this (as I couldn’t find that disclaimer) the CSR treated me like I was “special”.

Correct

We at Panda offer the option to swap the springs prior to shipment for a fee. That way you don’t have to mess with a spring compressor or anything. https://www.pandamotorworks.com/pro...-2021-ford-bronco?_pos=7&_sid=db290321c&_ss=r
Glad you jumped into this conversation. We have talked a few times and I’m still not clear if the HD springs you guys offer are the same that the OP referenced when this thread was started. I don’t see an Eibach part number on your webpage to compare.

A few posts in, there was a screen cap of an email where Eibach stated these “new” springs were different and had more travel.

Can you please clarify?

Looks like the only "new" part of the front springs is the part number. From everything I can see, those front HD springs e30-35-056-05-20, are the same exact springs we have offered for a while now. They just now have a dedicated listing and part number as a Bronco coilover upgrade, instead a universal offroad spring. Just some marketing to make the buying process easier
