Electric HUMMER EV vs. Bronco

So, after GM blew it with the new Blazer, there were rumors of a reborn GMC Jimmy as a Wrangler fighter built off of the Colorado chassis. That news sort of disappeared and then GM teased the return of HUMMER as a GMC vehicle/sub-brand. I‘m not convinced that GM ever had a Jimmy rebirth in mind. For one, they never filed for a trademark of the name (which they did for HUMMER). So now that we know HUMMER is coming back as an electric SUT, how will GM screw it up... position this vehicle? Will it be a midsize competitor, a full-size monster, or something else entirely?

That would be cool, but I just can’t see GM doing this. They’ll just put a lift on a Tahoe and call it a day. That, or make the K5 an appearance package for the Blazer.

If they would build a K5, a real K5, they most likely would have my money. As it is, I'm buying a Bronco.

I've had 3 and hated selling every one. I also had the last 2 door blazer, but I don't think they called it a K5.

I would love to have a new K5 the size of the 1st gen with removable top, but one I didn't have to work on all the time. I'm getting soft in my old age.

It's GM. The new hummer will probably be either another tahoe or another front wheel drive crossover.
