Great time on Ellis Peak trail. Money shot with Tahoe in the background. The lower control arm skid plates came in handy. Seriously considering the same lift and 37s as the Wildtrak that was with us. He made it look easy while I was earning battle scars. šŸ˜‚

My wife and I did the Full Blackwood Canyon
connecting with the Lower section ( last 5 miles) of the Rubiconā€¦ (which starts from barker pass where you all stagedā€¦ same initial road)

The next Day we did Genoa Peak on the other side of the lakeā€¦

Also, near Tahoe City behind the golf course is the road Mt Watsonā€¦. Which is pretty lightweight off roadā€¦. But the actual road to Mt. Watson peak is a legit challenging off road trailā€¦

I donā€™t know where you guys started from but I live in the East bay and would love to join your group.

Maybe 1/8" if that. Weight was minimal other than a small ice chest and a couple chairs. The winch plate/winch/fabfours add to the stock weight of course.

You don't realize how small my rig on SAS 35s looks compared to the Wildtrak on Methods (-12mm offset) and 37s. Big difference. Like "I'm getting kinda self-conscious thinking about it" difference. LOL.

Here's my rig on the left. The Rubicon and WT are both on 37s.

I have the dv8 LCA skids too. Think itā€™s Definitely more than 1/8 since it conceals the bolt. But imagine what that bolt head may have looked like if you didnā€™t have the skid :)

il debating a lift and 37s too at some point but if I did that I definitely wonā€™t fit In my garage haha

Also of note, the Trail Control mode was clutch coming down. Set it to 2.5mph and you donā€™t have to touch a pedal. Pretty cool IMO.
glad that capability carried over with the manual. When I learned about this at the Off-Rodeo it went into the memory banks. Used it this summer in MT. Basically low-speed, off-road cruise control that is super convenient with a manual when going downhill.
