Here are pics of this canvas product installed at the front of my Bronco. You might be able to get it tighter, but water will still pour in on the dash.

That's how mine installs as well. Not what I was expecting, was hoping for one with a bar and clamps at the front like Jeep does.

Hey, all. Neither the wife nor I have ever had a convertible. We need the MIC because New England winters can be rough, but want to ride with the top fully off in the summer. Obviously, we can't carry the MIC around with us. Is there a solution for a rain cover that could be secured over the 4-door in the event of an unforecasted shower?

Thank you.
This is what I was thinking of doing. They make them for Jeep now but I contacted them and they said they are making a version for the Bronco also:

I’d considered that move. But it adds, what, $4K-$5K in cost?
Consider waiting for the aftermarket to cool off. Prices will come down. Google the jeep aftermarket and you will find considerably less expensive alternatives

Man, a guy in Texas just sold his entire soft top assembly for $500 on this forum. 😳There may not be another deal like that, but there could be others for sale for a still-reasonable price…
Shoot I need to move to Texas. I ordered the ford accessory soft top (bestop) for $3100 CDN and tried to cancel it when I realized it doesn’t fold all the way back and that you have to cover a bunch of the roof rails with seals that need to be replaced each time you switch back to the MIC. I want MIC for winter cause of all the rain in Vancouver but want a soft top for summer. Hoping when it comes I can find someone that will switch their factory soft top for my Bestop trektop soft top 🤞🏻

Thanks for dropping us into the conversation. Don’t want to take over the thread but I do want to share the major differences between BRONCOVER and the Ford cockpit cover.

Ford claims theirs to be dust and dew resistant, and not waterproof.

The BRONCOVER is fully waterproof, made in America from marine grade materials. We are currently still on a preorder with covers shipping in February, just in time for spring.

why not a summer soft top?

Thats my plan anyway. though I dont like the bestop solution so Im waiting for the ford top to be sold, or a different 3rd party option that folds all the way back.

Whats your time line on the 2dr model? Thanks!
As soon as I can get my hands on a 2 Door. Have yet to see one here in SC but it will be before summer.

And now I'm an idiot who didn't conduct the most basic of searches...

Thank you.
Qualifies as ’only dust and dew’. I bought one but haven’t used it yet. Doesn’t look like it would keep anything heavy out long.
