Yeah I have a spot that says trailer sway control that is on but this is for like the selectable modes except it automatically does it when trailer is plugged in. I tried getting it in the goat modes but it didn't turn on and made the modes glitch.

Mine has the towing package from factory and these are the only options I get.

I've been trying to figure out how to turn the lane change crap OFF, after the last OTU you can't disable it.
Probably can do it in forscan I've only turned it off with the steering wheel controls so I'm not sure.

Oh I'm missing that Trailer Light Check from my retrofit. Wasn't aware that existed. I'll have to look into getting that coded so mine will be 100%

@MattInNash Do you have a guide for enabling ACC with Stop & Go?

I would be making the upgrade from standard ACC.

Here's what I've gathered so far (Not in step order).

ModuleDescriptionSettingValue
PCMPowertrain Control ModuleRelearn Central Programming-
BCMBody Control ModuleAdaptive Cruise ControlAdaptive Cruise Control, Stop and Go
APIMAccessory Protocol Interface ModuleIntelligent Adaptive CruiseEnabled
IPCInstrument Panel Control ModuleIntelligent Adaptive CruiseEnabled
IPMaImage Processing Module AAdaptive Cruise ControlEnabled

The ABS setting is:

760-03-01 *xxx xxxx *=F

Now stop and go works in both adaptive setting or intelligent mode. Speed limit watcher in intelligent doesn’t seem to work.

No issues with codes or faults then?

That fixed all the faults. I had two dtc s related to abs, advancetrac service light, and collision brake not working, prior to changing abs module code.

I’m really excited cause now the ACC works as I thought it would when I got the bronco.

now I just got to figure out if I can enable the intelligent speed limit reader.

This seems to be the secret sauce. I was successfully able to configure it. I am going to test it out today.

This ABS change is for stop and go, but does it include lane centering?

Thanks for you efforts

Is there a particular order that these have to be done in, or just the PCM relearn has to be done after everything is changed?

I wish i had been more methodical during process. My feeling is there is no particular order. I changed everything via “easy” mode other than ABS module. I relearned PCM after all changes, but before ABS change. I also recalibrated the CCM before the ABS change as the ABS info was the last piece of the puzzle for me. Don’t be surprised if you get warning lights for various items during the process as I did - remember to save all of your as builds prior to changing and make a list/remember which modes you changed as you can always revert things back if you make mistakes.

Good luck to you all. I have to say that it is pretty satisfying to finally have the stop and go ACC that I thought I was going to get when first getting the bronco - what creative marketing FORD has done there - I am still scratching my head as to why Ford chose to not program it into vehicle when the hardware is present…..

A few things to note, see attached photos for reference:

1. Speed limit sign reader still doesn’t work when in the “intelligent cruise mode”.
Ford Bronco Enabling Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Centering IMG_4117

2. IPC displays this message when intelligent is selected and you turn on cruise at steering wheel button. The message only comes up once and goes away so it really isn’t that annoying.

3. Stop and go works in both adaptive or intelligent mode. So until I, or most likely someone else, figure out the sign reader, I will be leaving in adaptive mode.

Thanks for you work on this. Just my 2 cents I had the intelligent Speed Sign Recognition on my F-150 and hated it. It could not recognize the difference in signs so I would be cruising down the freeway at 75mph and pass the speed sign for Tractor Trailers Only which is 55mph and it would slam on the brakes to get me down to 55mph. I tried to play around with the setings but never got it a point that it would work correctly with the speed signs so I just left it on Adaptive. Thanks again for all your work.
