EXCLUSIVE: 1/25/2020 (From ford authority) The 2021 Ford Bronco will be powered by the twin-turbo 2.7 L.
EcoBoost V6 engine mated to the 10 speed automatic transmission, Ford Authority has learned from
sources familiar with the vehicle project.

Currently, the EcoBoost engine does duty in several Ford Motor Company vehicles, including the F-150, Ford
Edge ST as well as the Lincoln Nautilus. The exact output of the motor is currently unclear, but we can
gather a general idea by looking at the vehicle with the closest powertrain configuration - the Ford F-150.

I'm all for it, give me at least a V6 outta the gate, and hopefully keep the starting price reasonable on the new Bronco. Maybe for the people who like to put out the extra cash, give them the option of a V8 (which I'd love too, but I'm not willing to drop 45k or more on a vehicle)

Yeah, I don't really care what engine is in this thing. From what I understand the 2.7 is an awesome engine... But so is the 2.3.
Like others have stated, I'm really anxious about the manual transmission rumors. I really want confirmation on this soon. It doesn't really seem like something Ford would actually do to me, they seem so proud of that 10 speed.
