This was posted by someone on FB who supposedly works for Dana. The 3.0L is speculated to be the PHEV/HEV engine from the Aviator (494 HP).

We know there'll be a 2.3L Ecoboost base engine, so what's the 2.7L then? Maybe a 2.7 Ecoboost engine for "Raptor / Warthog" Bronco?

Oh it was just someone who replied and speculated that it was a 3.0L hybrid.

3.0L Ecoboost Raptor / Warthog Bronco would be awesome!

i highly doubt a 3.0 hybrid. But it COULD happen.

either way the 3.0 hybrid or not is 18+ months away from being reviled

where as the 2.3 should be at day1 and the 2.7 not to far behind

hybrid 2.3 or 3.3n/a is likely only a couple months to a year behind launch

Will that swap into a 1970 Thunderbird? Cause those sound like big block specs to me.

Absolutely. The 4th gen had a 429 big block. a 2.3 Ecoboost hybrid will fit just fine. With room to spare. I would try to throw that Aviator hybrid in that.
