Changed the oil in my 2.3 today right after changing my F350 6.7 oil.

The 2.3 engine holds 6.2 quarts. That extra .2 must keep the rods from slinging thru the side of the block.

Rant over.

The group that designed the sheet metal and exterior killed it.

Just be glad you can reach them. Toyota engineers figure you'll never change the oil, so why make anything accessible?

Weird. All the bolts on my Rangers skid plates were 15mm

What the hell is the tolerance on your 16mm socket? Never taken off a Bronco skid plate that wasn’t 15mm. Just wondering if maybe I missed something.

So you don't have a 15MM socket?
Maybe I missed the numbers. I changed the oil in my f350 right before and know I changed sockets. It’s tough getting old, can’t see numbers on sockets and forgetting when I change sockets.

Hey no judgement at all, you got the job done that’s the important thing. Trust me there’s been plenty of times I’ve hammered on the wrong socket because time is money haha.
