Not bad…. But, does it seem odd to anyone else… ‘eruption’ and ‘green’ don’t seem to go together to me any more than if the other new color was ’Chili Pepper Blue’

This is all me. Question is, how do I order one? Could someone explain the process to me? Is the white roof available only on certain trim levels?

Hmm where to start.

A factory made white roof probably won't exist until 2023 model year at the earliest.

As far as ordering goes, the order banks for '22MY will probably open by September... or October.
Once the order banks open for '22MY, you should be able to place an order with your dealer with any of the '22MY options/package/trim combinations that are available that you want.

Somewhere in Michigan . . . in a Bar, near Detroit.
“How’d the Color Committee Meeting go today?”
”I’m three scotches in..”
”That bad? Lemme see, I heard we finally got green.”
”Here.”
“That doesn’t completely suck; what’s the problem?”
”The name.”
”The name?” . . . “Holy, shit! Did anyone try to stop them?!”
”Shut up and order me another Scotch. It’s been a rough day.”

I seem to recall Cactus Gray was originally "Fighter Jet Gray" and when it got down to the nitty gritty, it was changed to Cactus Gray.

Who's to say they don't officially call it "Everglades Green" when they drop the B&P? Or, if someone down there at @Ford Motor Company has a sense of humor, "Just Ducky Green" for all those Mallard Lovin' Fools out here.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller???????

'Cause I'm thinking "Disruption Green" would be a bit too obvious...

I'm a very low likely hood to get a 2021 anyway. July 30 reservation Badlands, SAS, High, Soft top.
But I think I may need to defer to 2022 to make sure I get this green.

I really like this green. I love the mallard green on the 70's and this is close to that.

Anyone else going to "99" their order to make sure they get green?

Most likely jumping clubs since I am now a MY22. I am pretty sure I will find a way to see it in person before I get a VIN anyways so I can always change it back to Carbonized. I just hope Ford gives a some color change on MGV for the Badlands.

I wish it was just a little brighter green... I would also like to see it on a Badlands with the carbonized gray grill... still up in the air on this one and I'm disappointed about AMB going away... that was my first choice.

🤔 I want to like it, but just like all of the earlier colors, hard to tell from a computer monitor with out seeing in person.
