It seems like this place might be lesser known. I live about an hour from Hidden Falls Adventure Park so obviously I've been there more than a few times in my Bronco, but this weekend a buddy and I made the drive out to Escondido Draw to ride their trails and camp the night.

I can't imagine this place stays a hidden gem forever but during probably 6 hours of trail riding we saw two people out there whereas Hidden Falls has straight up traffic jams on their trails sometimes.

It's worth checking out, call ahead to book a camping spot (they also have RV hookups). The staff is super friendly and helpful. The lady working the front desk gave good recommendations on which trails to go on and which ones to avoid.

The views were amazing and we felt really secluded the entire time.

They provided us a map but it's easy to lose your bearings out there, the park is very large. I recommend saving the trail maps ahead of time on onX/Gaia/etc.

It's been so long I couldn't tell you. I know we went up the pipeline and did a trail on the very outer Rim.
They don't make it easy bc their trails don't have names, they are numbers.
The folks at checkin are extremely helpful though, tell them it's your first time and they'll look at your vehicle and tell you which trails you have the best bet getting through.

Last May Bronco Nation sponsored a trail event to Escondido Draw, about 15 bronco owners attended. It was a great time learning more trail riding and having the guys from various Bronco Off-roadeo places there. First time I've been there but it was a terrific place for trail riding. Mostly slow and steady on the ones we were on.

I'll go back to the Draw... great off road place.
