yep I squeezed in huge 41s...
had to do ALOT more trimming and sawing and modifications to get the huge meats to fit, but there on now!

These tires are taller and WIDER than my 40s previously.

I absolutely love the soft sticky tread, and is amazing there is almost ZERO road noise! WAY quieter than the yokahama Extreme MTs from before.

No balance beads or lead weights! Interco now ballances the tires at the factory with a weighted patch on the inside of the tire, BRILLIANT IDEA as the weight is out near the tires circumference instead of at the wheel (which is too close to the center of rotation to work well anyway)

Overall, I'm just amazed a tire this big can be stuffed onto a bronco without jacking it up to the moon. I wanted HUGE tires and a very low Center of Gravity. under 2" of total lift!

still have a few tweaks here and there to make it perfect but I thought I would share pics of the progress.

I removed the Ford steel flairs and bolted them back on about 2" higher up and changed the radius on the front ones....cut off anything hanging below.

Still need to move or swap out the windshield wiper fluid canister and trim the rear bumper...

No jumps lol, I have no bumpstops on the shocks, so jumps are off limits for now. still gotta trim a few more areas before any difficult trails, it turns great except at full compression it rubs the frame rail same place as 37s do, but I've cut off most other obstacles the tires could catch. Still need to modify the firewall a bit more too.

Wow, those are full wheel wells. It amazes me how small the 17" rims look when you get to the larger diameter tires. My last serious off road truck had 44s and I ran 20" steel rims and they looked almost normal. Just heavy has hell...somewhere between 200 and 250 lb each.

What is your combined wheel/tire weight?

Healthy. I'm going to let you young bucks run with those beasts. A couple of decades ago and I'd be there with you. Keep up the good work.

Well very nice! One day I’ll cut mine up for some 40’s. I wanna add an external cage to mine that ties into the sliders;)

That’s not until I have another daily though as this is my family vehicle and I’m still chopping up my other project (1958 Cabover Jeep going on 40’s with a mid frame LS and custom tube chassis).

Nice work, Allan. Really cool how the tires are balanced. With the rear liners removed, are you planning on painting?
