yep I squeezed in huge 41s...
had to do ALOT more trimming and sawing and modifications to get the huge meats to fit, but there on now!
These tires are taller and WIDER than my 40s previously.
I absolutely love the soft sticky tread, and is amazing there is almost ZERO road noise! WAY quieter than the yokahama Extreme MTs from before.
No balance beads or lead weights! Interco now ballances the tires at the factory with a weighted patch on the inside of the tire, BRILLIANT IDEA as the weight is out near the tires circumference instead of at the wheel (which is too close to the center of rotation to work well anyway)
Overall, I'm just amazed a tire this big can be stuffed onto a bronco without jacking it up to the moon. I wanted HUGE tires and a very low Center of Gravity. under 2" of total lift!
still have a few tweaks here and there to make it perfect but I thought I would share pics of the progress.
I removed the Ford steel flairs and bolted them back on about 2" higher up and changed the radius on the front ones....cut off anything hanging below.
Still need to move or swap out the windshield wiper fluid canister and trim the rear bumper...
