Thank You, my dad and I bought 2 of the 1st 4Runners in Dallas back in late '84

Mine was off the 1st transporter to the dealer & dad's was the 1st SR-5 delivered a couple weeks later.

1985 MY was the "Holy Grail" for the 4Runner, 1st year for EFI & Last year for the SFR

I added a Rough Country 3" lift and 33x12.50x15 , ended up trading it in for a Square Body 1986 GMC Sierra Classic single cab short bed with a 350 TBFI mated to a Granny+ 3 speed 4x4 out in Scottsdale in 1988.

Dad gave me his SR-5 in 2000 and I built it into this.

honestly, I think it's insulting for them to keep coming out with previews of other models when they can't even F'ing deliver for those of us who have been waiting for a year and a half since we reserved. Ford - Get your crap together and start delivering to those who have been waiting, instead of giving dealers stuff for their lots.

Is it just me or did they do away with the front camera on the grill?

Good call. Grill would indicate it’s a Badlands but it’s also a non-painted Bronco grill. Wondering if it’s specific to this model and they relocated the camera because the winch.

Lemme put on my tinfoil hat and say I absolutely believe that the Bronco was designed with these square flares in mind. Rumor has it that at some point in development, a high-up demanded a redesign because he was afraid the Bronco looked too much like the Wrangler, I think the round wheel arches were added for this reason.

The lines of the square flares line up perfectly with the tie-down and the silhouette of the fender, that's not to mention the Bronco R's design and the fact that the 1st-Gen, which the 6th is primarily styled after, had them as well.

Anyways, I'm here for it, hopefully the option for these trickles all the way down from the Everglades and Raptor to Big Bend and Base.
