Hello all.

I have a base, base 4 door Bronco. I wanted to upgrade tires to 33s and replace the base steelies.

For tires, I was able to find take offs in my area from several new jeep owners. I got a set of five Falken WildPeaks.(285/70r17) for $600 with less than 5k miles on them. They look new.

For wheels, this was a real struggle. Most wheel companies are not set-up for the Bronco yet, Discount Tires include. Several will not let you buy them without verifying fitment by entering your vehicle which blocks the process(Discount Tires).

TireRack does have the Bronco configured for wheels and tires on their web site. I was able to easily find a set of wheels(w/lugs) that I wanted, verify fitment, arrange delivery to a local installer and schedule an install appointment. Wheels and tires are going on this Saturday.

Ron, contact Matt @Discount Tire by PM. He has helped me greatly with wheels, and offsets. He's a good guy.

What did you end up choosing? Before the Bronco was listed for configuration on Tire Rack, I was looking at wheels for the Ranger. I wasn't going to pull the trigger until I actually get the Bronco, but I was concerned about the differences in offsets.

@timhood Tim, I showed several to the bride, and she picked the Fuel Shok 17x9 +20. I still undecided right now as I'm between those, or just trying to pick up a set of Badlands take-offs. Matt helped me with the offset as I'm quite uneducated when it comes to that important detail. My build is so far off I'll probably change my mind as least 1M times before it's all over.

Bronco6G has a 6 lug x 5.5 (139.7 mm) pattern and a 93.1 mm hub bore diameter.
The factory offsets range from +55 mm to +30 mm SAS.
I'd stay within a 8"-9" rim and +30 mm to 0 offset.
This will keep it close to the OEM travel line.

I have 17x9 +25 mm 106.1 mm hub bore and will put 285/70R17's on them.
I have hub centric rings 106.1 to 93.1 installed.

This link should help a bunch for offset and rim/tire selection.
My OEM and Modified set up is in the link.

No salesman currently recommends going larger than an 8" rim.
IMO 9" will work fine.

I did. They are aware of the issue with their website and can manually process order for now.

@Jsullivan Jay, another thing I don't understand is hub bore. I'm looking at an Icon Rebound 17x8.5 +25 w/108.1 hub bore. I'm just not sure what difference that that hb bore will make. FYI, i'm having to check the Ranger sizing as the Bronco isn't available yet on the site I'm looking at. Thank you for any help you can give. As I said, I'm quite wheel/tire sizing challenged. :)

You will need to make sure you can get hub centric rings to close the gap in the 93.1 bore on the Bronco vs the wheel bore.

It's a lot of work to buy wheels these days. I'm old, and when growing up we had maybe a dozen wheels to choose from. Now it's like a million, and all are dfferent sizes. :)

Here is a link to aluminum rings.
I prefer plastic but I didn't do an indebt search.
Hub Centric rings will allow your wheel to sit symmetrical over the hub.
Probably?? The rim you choose will be lug centric but I always like using the rings.
I believe the OEM rims have a 60 deg seat for the lug nuts.
Be sure to get the lug nuts that will work with your wheels.
