Is the base warranty on the Bronco 3/36? Curious....to those who have taken delivery, and have your Bronco, are you getting an EW?

  • If so, how much and how long?
  • If not, are you waiting till the factory warranty almost expires?
  • And If you did or are going to purchase an EW, where are the best places to shop?
Granted, I may want to get a 4-door Bronco in 2 years, if and when I have a kid. SO not sure what the best play is here.

I'm most definitely going to purchase it for mine. Mainly due to this being a newly designed vehicle (We've already started to see some of the first-year kinks pop up). We've yet to see what long-term faults the vehicle could have. It's purely peace of mind.

I've had the Ford ESP on my past 3 mustangs and it's been worth its purchase for all 3.

My 2013 had a faulty throttle body and Evap core (Very expensive repair $1700+)

My first 2015 also had a faulty evap core. (2015-2017 mustangs are notorious for this. Your entire dash has to be ripped out) Guess I was just unlucky on my 2013.

My second 2015 ... guess what.. faulty evap core. This actually happened literally 200 miles past the 36k warranty. I bought the ESP for this issue alone as I knew it was going to happen.

I bought all of mine through Flood Ford online- Significantly less than what most dealers will price it at.

I extended to 6/75,000 due to this being the first model year and all the production issues. First time I’ve ever gotten an EW.

I'll be going with Flood Ford EW as well unless thr dealership can match. I'm definitely extending the warranty on this beast!

EWs are like betting in Vegas - some win big but the house makes money more than it loses.

Any ford dealer can sell an EW and they can be purchased up to the original expires. If you purchase on shop around on the internet, you will save 10-20%.

I priced a 6 year/150,000 Premiumcare through Zeigler Ford with first day rental. It was approximately $2,400 with a $100 deductible. This is the most extensive extended Service Plan that Ford offers.

I cannot imagine a situation where I'd buy an aftermarket warranty.
