This is an aftermarket accessory (Bestop). This is not from Ford (thank God).
Are you sure? If I connect the dots:
1. MICs are a bottleneck.
2. 2-Door models are considered "high demand" by "Esteban in the wood shop".
3. Slap these on and get them out the door in 2021MY. Also helps with the hardtop production: just make a bunch of 4-door MICs and not 2-door, for 2021MY.

Dark colors are like this. That is why it is important to consider dirt/mud in the color of your Bronco.

See, now you have me worried. In the SEMA build, they mentioned it was aftermarket. We just never saw the side panels, but we did see the roof. Who know at this point, right?

We're sure in that Ford has stated that the 2-door soft top is not factory, but rather aftermarket/accessory from Bestop.

From what they've said so far, you can not order your 2-door with the bestop soft top. You can only order it from the factory with the hard top and purchase the bestop on top of that.

But who knows... maybe they're working something out with bestop to make it a stand alone factory option... but we don't have any information that suggests that.

Those are beauty marks dude! I get wanting to take care of your ride and keeping it clean, but some vehicles were made to have a little beauty "spray" on them and the Bronco is one of them. It says, "I love my horse, but I'm not afraid of getting her a little dirty either." Why? Because she's "Built Wild" brother, lol. Like it's literally the Bronco's slogan.

I don't remotely understand the appeal in these "fastback" tops.

I have a Mustang convertible. The top performs just fine in the winter even when very cold. I think I would rather have the soft top at this point, except that I wanted to put a canoe on top of my Bronco.

I myself never been into Soft Tops bc I live in the Midwest. Winters are cold and long. Crazy storms in Summer. I like it. Think look better in a white vehicle though!

It reminds me of an Izuzu Amigo.
First Gen for sure. Second Gen got the angle better for a more useful cargo area.

I also asked Stig about these pics. Says those are staged in the Engineering only area. So I'm guessing still being thought though!!
