Hello everyone, I’m new here, and I don’t know much about these vehicles and hopefully I’m posting in the right place, but I wanted to inform that I am the son of this user.

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/members/pugsly.32411/

It pains me to say that last week, he passed away. My father was great, and did a lot of things for me and our family. He really loved his Bronco and made a lot of modifications to it. He was really proud of it, and worked really hard in order to get it initially. It hurts me to know that he won’t be around to enjoy the fruits of his labor anymore, and it’s been really difficult for me and my family to pick up the pieces that have left a hole in our family, but I’ve been slowly trying to piece together a path forward for my mother in his absence.

I can’t bare to see the vehicle sold, I don’t think he would’ve wanted that, so I have decided that I am going to try to take responsibility for it. Included is a picture of it that also was featured on one of his threads/replies.

So sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my thoughts. Wishing you the best going forward

I'm sure you'll find enjoyment in his Bronco - take the trips in it he didn't get to finish and enjoy those memories

Sorry for your loss my friend, may he rest in peace. I'm sure he would want you to carry on with the truck and enjoy it as he did.

Keeping the vehicle that he personalized will have him along for every trip,I did the same with my father's 2002 f150 supercrew, and going to start the restoration this winter.

As others have said: sorry for your loss.

Beautiful build worth keeping. Use it well in his honor, and the forum is here for advice as you use it.

I don't know if you have any love for the Bronco, but I can tell you about a good friend of mine.

Her dad had a T-Bird that he absolutely loved, and I doubt she would have ever have bought one, but she kept her dad's car after he died a few years back.

The car stays in the garage most of the time, but I know when she takes it out, it's a way to connect with him, remember him, and still have experiences in a special way.

Anyway, my point is, if you're unsure about keeping it, if you can, you should. I think it might be one of the best choices you can make for your future self.

Condolences and prayers for you and your family to find some peace, some rest in all of these sad days.

You'll be glad you kept it.

Both "one day" and many days both before and after that very special "one day" hits you out of the clear blue sky.
That moment when you find a very serene and personal peace somewhere where you have an indescribable connection to the moment, to your father, to the Bronco.

Every chance you get take it to a place he would have wanted you to experience, maybe even planned on taking you there himself.
Take it to places that having it made possible.
When you reach those places of solitude and wonder, he will be there waiting, smiling.

Lots of us here are here to help guide you, share in triumph and defeat, and maybe a few grins along the way.

-D.

I think it's a great task that you plan on taking on and a very honorable approach to your family's great loss. In my absence, I know I would want my family to at least try and find some peace and joy in partaking in the things that brought me happiness. That Bronc was important to him so go take it out, enjoy it and have some fun doing some crazy things in it! Chances are, when you do, he'll be right there with you, holding on, smiling from the passenger seat...
