Jeep will deal a serious blow to the aftermarket by opening a customization facility near its factory in Toledo, Ohio. It's investing $23 million into the site, and it hopes selling turn-key modified 4x4s will create over 300 jobs.

Interesting read! I love the competition good for us all!! Not to mention the jobs it brings to the area!!

It is crazy to think them doing that though! Crazy took them this long. Aftermarket will def suffer! But for the ppl means warranty covered!

It sounds good on the surface and I’m sure FCA would source many items from the aftermarket. Ford does it with Warn, Yakima etc.

Absolutely agree! I see them actually sourcing first straight from the top aftermarket groups. DV8, KCs, EVO, def Warn, Factor 55, GenRight!

Exactly this. Ford left a huge open hole by not delivering on the interior, decals, paint, and white tops/fenders/grille for the Bronco. You think its an accident that Jeep has a white top this year and this Jeep facility is being worked on? Bummer. Ford did an undeniably awesome job on the rig but because Jeep already has the vehicle it won't take them any time to catch up and even beat Ford. Ford should have had the custom shop they are building done way before this.

If your going to go out of your way to step on Jeep's dick you better smash it. Ford got 90% there and then sat down on the park bench. The Bronco is awesome and I will wait for it but it stings to see them mess things up that should have been obvious. Maybe they will have one more color, some decals, and the white top (they have the color matched ones up there for some reason) on the update but the way they are going I wouldn't place any bets on it.

Same here I'm still waiting! I totally agree. I def think they will get a green by the time it's said and done. I'm also almost betting by 2023 they will "update" for lack of a better word the interior! It will eventually be 100%! Will I have FOMO by then too sure.. guess I'll just get my 21 then buy another by whenever they get it all worked out! I got the faith in Ford!
